Roshan Seth – Genie Award Winning Actor - was born and educated in India. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Modern Indian History from the University of Delhi, he trained as an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His early career began in England. He decided to return to India and has lived in New Delhi since 1977, pursuing an international career in Britain, the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and India. In 2006, he was awarded an O.B.E.
Roshan’s stage credits include: Peter Brook’s celebrated production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, in the RSC World Tour to 36 cities; A MAP OF THE WORLD by David Hare in which he created the role of Victor Metha, playing in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, London and New York; he played the Fool in KING LEAR at The National Theatre, London 1987-88; THE MILLIONAIRESS UK 1995 and Salieri in AMADEUS at the Cornell University’s Kiplinger Theatre in the US.
